WECARE-Charity Event at PDK,Mutiara Labuan.

Been Having lazy syndrome to update my blog and there are quite a lot to update on my sewing craze, but Im giving this entry my #1 priority to post out cos it was AMAZING! This is perhaps the longest post ever! (please bear with me and do enjoy the pictures!)

To my darling hubby, thank you for your support and your kind understanding. You're the best!

PDK Mutiara,Labuan

PDK(Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti) is a training center where teachers dedicate themselves to care and teach children with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and Autism.

ANNIE & I

It happened that both Annie and I will be leaving the Island soon... We planned to make a charity event for our SSA group last year but with zero result. We were so busy with our personal life and when we get to meet again for quite sometime, I was thrilled to learned that Annie wanted to make it happened before we both leave. It was hard to leave knowing that the center was still waiting for us to visit... 

So we both teamed up and geared ourselves  for better or worse. It was a success!

We were overwhelmed that so many people from different walks of life have joined us for the event!

Puan Sapiah _ The Supervisor and founder of PDK,mutiara Labuan.

" I thank you all for coming here today. I wish you all a warm welcome. This is the first time that this center is visited by foreigners and I am blessed being with you all today. This Center is governed under the Malaysian welfare Department, We care and train children with Cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome and Autism and we are not paid to do this. It's just that we want to help them develop and we love what we are doing. Including the teachers, we are 25 in total. We need no monetary contribution, but we do need TEACHERS. Apart from Malaysian Special training we also self-taught ourselves to learn other training method from other countries. With all of you being here today... It's just a dream coming true. Thank you all for your contributions, thank you all for your time and let's Enjoy and have Fun!

Global Art was so nice to be able to join us in this event, making the center look GREAT!

Aahhh...time flies so fast when we are having so much fun. Before we knew it, the parents came to pick up their children and bidding farewell was not easy especially for those children.
