Vinoun Jugah

Although 2 years have passed, my first encounter with motherhood was what I remembered the most as a blessing. From the moment I touched those little fingers to my first breastfeed, I know for certain, it's going to be a wonderful Journey...

My Vinoun was born with Angel wings wrapped around him... He was so easy to take care and wasn't too much of something to complain about. There was never loud cries, no sleepless nights, no mood swings, no unnecessary tantrums.
He is just so peaceful...

The first 2 months of his life was perhaps the crucial event in mine. After birth, he was diagnosed with Jaundice where his billirubin count was near to 300. Although it's a common disease, mother's always thought of the worst. Afterwards after 2 weeks going back and fourth to the hospital, his billirubin counts finally decreased and back to it's normal rate. Not long after that, he caught an agonizing cough and flu for almost a month and it breaks any mother's heart to feed their babies bottles of medicines every single day...

The good Lord have always kept Vinoun in His arms, and the Angel he sent is always there with him...

A slight fever when he's teething did not cumber him to astonish mommy every single day...

And making mess of himself is what he does best...

His first word "Da-Dee..." came about a couple of months before he started walking.
Vinoun finally got his steady legs when he is 1 year old. Looking at his small feet finding it's way was really a personal accomplishment for me. Then, he starts to run, sing, dance...and everything turned out the way it's suppose to be...

Vinoun has been and will always be the Joy-Giver of our life. Everyday, he amuse us with new things of what he learned and eventually putting it into practice. He never fail to acquire our attention even in his most unexpected , unusual, unforgettable ways...

He'll place his palm on my cheek when I cry and say "Don't cry mummy..It's ok..."
or, throwing tantrum when he wants what he cant have "Mummy, I want Ice-Cream, OK! "
or making his puppy-eyes face with both hands attached " Please....mummy...."

These are the things that makes me wonder how someone so insignificant, have a big impact on my life, and that insignificance is my little man who truly signifies himself to the world - our world...

It's a long journey ahead and so many mission to accomplish...You'll always be mummy's little wonder...Search Amazon.com for baby booksSearch Amazon.com for baby books
