Honeymoon in Paris

Paris, France...home to love and romance, home to fashion and beautiful sceneries... not to brag or anything, but im glad to say, done that been there!

How did i got there? love perhaps? love indeed. Paris is both my honeymoon and a birthday gift from my beloved hubby.

My journey started on sept 17,08. Flying from KKIA to KLIA at 4;30pm flight. Then a direct flight to CDG at 11;30pm.I got to be a dumbass on a 15hrs flight!

It was Boeing 777, served by MAS/GARUDA airlines. Everything was perfect except that travelling alone with a bunch of Frenchmens who barely speaks English, I was left alone with no companionship. Looking on a bright side, the flight occoupancy was merely 80% so i had all 5 rows of seats all bymyself.

Eventually, i acted stupid silly when i couldnt get my monitor to Movie-mode, so i pressed everything, yet ignoring the "ding, ding" sound turning on and off. Suddenly a stewardess came out of nowhere, sticking her head nest to me and asked if i needed anything. Embarrassed i asked her help anyway.

Now knowing where to push, hehehe. i requested for peanuts, and i mean a lot! and a bog bottled of water. She came back with peanuts stacked hing on both hands and later came back with a tray with 6cups of water on it. It was hillarious! Aplogigizing for not having a botteled water, she assured me to get more peanuts! hahaha

It is unbelieable to see that we are actually flying across Asia and middle east, looking from the airplane indicator.
Dint realise what time i dozed off, woke up 1 hour before ETA. I was wee-morning, everyone disembarked with sleepy eyes.
Approaching the Immigration counter, the office greeted me "bonjour" and a warm welcome to Paris. He had a nice smile. I would say CDG is not that of a modern, hi-tech airport. yet with so many stairs and escelators and lifts, one could easily get lost!

While waiting for hubby at the redenzovous point, i encountered many different people. Just like Malaysia, only that they look "mat salleh" but they're french, the look like chinese but they're french, they can look like Michael Jordan or even Denzel Washington or perhaps Partick Viera, but still ther're French. ( Ops, Viera is actually French!)

1st day upon arrival, hubby brought me to see with my own eyes, the Eiffel Tower. A couple of subway train and a few minutes walk, we're there. It was amaizingly, breathtaking,WOW! scene. People from different parts of the world were lining up to board the elevator, overlooking the whole city from the tower top raising 300m tall. Couldn't possibly visit Paris without seeing the tower. it was build in 1889, celebrating the French Revolution

Arc de Triomphe known as the greatest arches in history stands mighty in the middle of a giant roundabout. Build by Napoleon to commemorate his victory. Arc is no stranger to Paris, in fact the have quite a few.

There was a great crowd at cathedral of Notre Dame. A giant church build in the middle of the city engraved with many faces of angels and demons. Significantly build in a gothic style, perhaps potraying Paris status as the capital kingdom of France. Now i can imagine how the hunchback of Notre Dame hoppig from one to side to another. Pigeons were fonds of humans, most probably because of the free snack they can get. Almost every churh built are in gothic style with beautiful stained glass windows and not forgetting the pipe-organ, perhaps the oldest.

Saw and went to so many places yet i couldnt find the right words to decribe paris magnificient places, hope thes pictures will help...out of ideas...
